Welcome Patients
At Vital Roots Chiropractic, we understand that your health journey is unique. Your first visit is a crucial step toward achieving optimal well-being, and we want to ensure you feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.
Cash Office
It is important to know that our office, Vital Roots Chiropractic, is primarily a cash office. What this means is that we are not in-network with a majority of medical insurances except for those listed below. By being a cash office, it allows us the flexibility to provide complete treatment to our patients at affordable prices.

It is not mandatory that our office submits claims to your insurance on your behalf, however we can do that as a courtesy to our patients to make the appointment easier. If you would like to submit a claim to your insurance on your own, please request a document called a Superbill.

To avoid violations of a Dual Fee Schedule, we are contracted with Patient Options DMCO, which is a discount care organization that allows contracted offices to legally provide patients access to medical care at reduced fees.
**Our contract with Patient Options DMCO is at NO COST to our patients nor does it put any obligation on our patients.**

While we are an In-Network provider for the insurance(s) listed below, before arriving at your appointment, contact your insurance or our staff to check if our services are covered by your specific insurance plan.

What to expect during your first visit
01
Comprehensive Assessment
After you complete the new patient paperwork. Your initial visit begins with a thorough assessment of your health which involves going over your medical history, current concerns and/or specific symptoms you may be experiencing.
04
Diagnostic Tools
If needed, our Chiropractor may recommend getting additional testing such as X-rays or MRIs. This allows us to identify any misalignments or underlying issues that may be contributing to your symptoms. X-rays and MRIs are not done in-office, but the Chiropractor will provide a written script to get these tests fulfilled.
02
Physical Examination
A chiropractic physical exam assesses an individual's posture, range of motion, and includes the chiropractor performing orthopedic and neurological tests. This evaluation will provide valuable insight into your overall health and status of your musculoskeletal system.
05
Treatment Plan
Based on our assessment, a personalized treatment plan will be developed to address your specific needs. Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic exercises, soft tissue therapies, lifestyle recommendations aimed at enhancing your overall well-being, and planning out the frequency of visits.
03
Discussion of Findings
After the exam, we'll discuss our findings with you. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. We believe in transparent communication throughout this process so that you as the patient will be able to make an informed decision.
06
Spinal Adjustment
After completing the evaluation and discussion of treatment, the chiropractor may do an initial adjustment if deemed needed. Our gentle and precise techniques are designed to optimize joint function and to provide relief. Rest assured, if there is any nervousness about getting an adjustment of the spine or neck, the chiropractor can suggest another method of treatment.
